My group researched the contemporary artist Kryzytof Wodiczko, who specializes in electronic-based art to highlight marginalized communities and amplify voices. These video projections are shown on specific multi-dimensional surfaces, including various statues and buildings.

I found this art to be very unique and interesting. It is art that plays with its surroundings and creates these very thoughtful artworks that are also impactful. INSITE - Wodiczko KrzysztofKrzysztof Wodiczko - Artists - Galerie Lelong & Co.

I think it is especially important to curate these artists for specific age groups in school. It would be critical to select contemporary artists according to the issues that matter to the students. What are they passionate about? Do they want to challenge difficult topics? Do they enjoy play in art? How does art build community?

Different kinds of artists, besides the ones we are often taught about as the "essential masters of art", are important to inform students on because it brings about this sense of community. There is such a eurocentric view of art and its depictions of artwork in the context of European values, such as Christian religion, wealth, and the monarchy. What about the arts of Mongolia? or the Pacific Islands?

It shows us, as artists and individuals that art is universal and an important part of humanity.
